I love this library, growing up in Fish Hoek it was a lovely little outing in a peaceful place filled with words until today. Sadly the customer service is tarnished by one little librarian thinking he has authority. Sadly he has bullied and put down my elderly grandmother and I have first hand experienced his sad excuse for service. I am absolutely appalled by the recent treatment of loyal customers (50+ years). I will no longer support this establishment.

It is heartening to see that books are still treasured here. A friendly, efficient and committed staff and happy people enjoying what is more a privilege than a right in these times of collapsing facilities.

With extended hours until 17h00 and Thursdays until 18h00 gives one an opportunity to get there after work or a place to work while the kids dance in the hall.Good to see the physical notice boards are still up too.
