Honest travel Experience Johannesburg

I work in Rosebank and wanted to do something fun with my team within an hour. We booked the scooter experience, which made me a 'cool' manager in their eyes, but more importantly, because we are new in Rosebank, this experience allowed us all to explore parts of the neighborhood we would've never seen otherwise. All while using an environmentally friendly mode of transportation. Nicole, greeted us and demonstrated how to use the scooters safely while having fun. Tye, the person who took our reservation, was fantastic! I highly recommend team Honest for their Experiences, and I will definitely return with friends to book your other amazing experiences around Johannesburg!

We wanted to show some family and friends the real Johannesburg (not the plastic Sandton version) so booked an e-scooter tour with Honest Travel. We crossed through virtually every downtown suburb and had a blast. We saw parts of the city that most tourists will never visit, yet they are integral parts of Johannesburg. It was great fun zipping around on the scooters and getting up close to the heartbeat of Jozi.

Through Guruwalk, me and four others did the Downtown Johannesburg tour. The moment we arrive in the office, we feel this vibrant, happy and informal vibe. We meet BK, our guide, who's been doing this for 9 years and the rest of the team. Next we set out in Newton where I feel safe (after being warned by Uber drivers and people I know in Sandton) at all times. We see art, learn about music, dance and other forms of expression. We come across historical highlights and come back to the nice office. After the tour we are accommodated in our questions and head to a restaurant in Mantenga (?) where we spend the evening. I rate the overall experience 10/10. Great work guys!

I love working with Franck and the team at Honest Travel. Whether it's help with a walking tour through Hillbrow or hiring scooters to zoot around the city, the guys are always helpful and a pleasure to deal with.

I cannot recommend Honest Travel experience as a supplier and partner. The owner hires and makes use of services offered but when it comes time to settle for said goods and services goes silent. I did not want to go this route but I have been given The run around for months on end and now it's back to ignoring. Sure it will be the same old excuses as last time. I can see you recieved my multiple attempts to contact you so it seems this is the only way to get your attention. Pay what you owe Franck. Would not recommend partnering with this guy. You have been warned.

We booked the free walking tour quite spontaneously on the 24th of october. Ivan and Shawn took us on a wonderful tour through Newtown and braamfontain and gave us an understanding of the historical development of the two districts. At short notice, we decided to take the graffiti tour in maboneng, which was joined by Tye. We can unreservedly recommend the graffiti tour. Tye has an extensive knowledge and has explained us the developments in Maboneng on the basis of art. In addition, we learned a lot about the history of Johannesburg and the people living there.Tye, Shawn and Ivan are really great guides who take you on interesting and cool tours. A great team!

We did a six district tour today which was really great. The booking and communication in advance was uncomplicated and everyone was very friendly and helpful.On the tour our guide shai told us so much behind the scenes and historical knowledge with a personal note what we really appreciated. We‘ll definitely do another tour,Highly recommended!

I had a great experience touring the inner city. Despite the notorious status the inner city holds, the guides made me feel completely safe and secure. Information was good, friendly guides who are willing to answer ANY question and they make it really fun too! Definitely recommend
