Allee Bleue Wine Estate

Booked a family picnic and wow! What a lovely experience we had. When making the booking I informed them, we were celebrating a birthday, and they surprised us with a taste of their fine wine. That was really special. Our kids were entertained on the beautiful lawn and with the jungle gym. The food was amazing and the service excellent. Definitely a picnic venue for the whole family, but still elegant and very charming.

Complete disappointment!!Beautiful setting with very good wine.The food was prepared before and all soggy and wilted lettuce. The service was also very bad. Could not even get water or cutlery.I think it is a complete rip-off. One should deliver better service in times like this.I can not recommend the Christmas picknick to anyone.

We had a wonderful wine tasting here, and our sommelier, Yolanda, was fantastic. We came home with several bottles of wine as we loved them so much. We had a great view over the vineyard in the sunshine, too.

Loved this place. The staff couldn't have tried harder to help us enjoy our stay; same for the lovely team doing the wine tastings. Beautiful setting - the view from the wine tasting terrace was sublime.

I booked a picnic for my daughter and her husband. The service during the booking was excellent. The picnic was out of this world and my daughter could not stop praising them. I will definately suppprt them in the future. Support local we have the best wines and services.

Would not recommend a Christmas Picnic at Allee Bleue. We arrived at 12:00, our allocated time slot. Was met by the host and he seated us. 12:30 we were still not attended to by any waiter. Other parties arriving after us were seated and moved to the shade as per their request. We also then requested to move our own table to the shade, not another table like the other parties. It was declined and an extra umbrella was placed, not nearly as comfortable as the ample available shade of the large trees. We then went to the kitchen/dispatch area to request our drinks which was then served. Again with no further instructions of how the food will be served. At 13:00 we approached a waiter from the other table to request our food. The starter and mains were then served all at once. This was very unprofessional. Our 13 day period in the area we visited many farms and this was by far the most expensive picnic with the worst service of them all. I do understand Christmas lunch would be double the cost due to the date, but even at half the price the service was something to be ashamed of.

Absolutely incredible place!! We had a lovely picnic. The food was delicious and so beautifully presented. Our waitress, Lerato made us feel so special, she was friendly and professional. The wine is of course absolutely fantastic.We had an incredible time. Thanks also to Odwa who did the booking for me and was kind and efficient enough to let me know that I booked for the wrong day. Your call and follow up is truly appreciated. Thank you
