Shen Mi Yuan Garden Design

I have worked with Shen Mi Yuan Garden design for a month now. (I will post an update in a year)I have not used their landscaping service and so this review is solely to do with their garden maintenance service.1.) The team is punctual, well mannered and hard working. They all introduced themselves on the first visit and made a great first impression.2.) Their work ethic is brilliant, despite not having a large garden, they put time into everything they do ensuring great quality. (In addition they still came to work on my garden despite rainy weather where other garden services would have not shown up)3.) The communication is brilliant - I am sent a timetable of when they will be here every month. I am informed of all issues with the garden, and updated on work progress.4.) All my requests are met with enthusiasm to help even though they do not always fall in line with the companies schedule or work plans.I could not be happier, if you care about your garden, I highly recommend Shen Mi Yuan Garden service.

We reached out to Shen Mi Yuan for their landscaping design services, we wanted a dog-friendly, small garden makeover, and goodness, that's exactly what we received! We can't emphasize enough how delighted we are with the transformation! JC is both attentive, knowledgeable and was sensitive to our budget, doing everything she could she create magic within our price range. Additionally, she somehow managed to merge two somewhat conflicting visions (mine and husband's) and created a cohesive space we both we both love to spend time in! JC was also sensitive to the location as well - a typical West Coast, windy, south facing garden, designing the garden and making plant choices to accommodate these factors. Since the landscaping was completed, JC has been so helpful in helping us learn about the garden and how best to maintain it too, even going so far as to do on-site follow up. Ive also reached out with several follow up questions (let's call it newbie gardener paranoia) and her patient guidance has been truly invaluable. I have a space now I can't wait to spend time in and one Im excited to learn about, tend, love and grow with. We're thankful to the whole team for their hard work and for the magic they've created. Working with Shen Mi Yuan exceeded our expectations.
