Protea by Marriott Hotel Pretoria Loftus Park

Beautiful well-kept modern hotel at Loftus Park, very friendly staff, special thanks to the chef at the egg station - brilliant - cooked our breakfast eggs to perfection! And the cappuccino's are really the best!

Absolutely loved the service at this hotel. I stayed there for 1 night and attended a conference over 2 days. One of the servers, Zandile attended to me at a conference supper and then again at lunch the next day-extremely hard working and polite. One of the kitchen staff, Refilwe went out of her way to check the halaal status of food being served. Additionally, a chef from the kitchen specially prepared a fish fillet for me to ensure I ate halaal. The rooms were clean and the staff were extremely efficient.

Had a good experience staying at the Protea Hotel Loftus Park. Restaurant service was excellent even catering to my special request for breakfast. Keep it up guys - will come back again.

The hotel was amazing, the room was cleaned on time whilst we went downstairs for breakfast. Breakfast was amazing, something new everyday. My only downside is the non-smoking in the rooms...kept my holiday quite moderate...should have upper rooms as smoking rooms

It’s always such a pleasure to stay here. Staff are lovely and always on hand if anything happens. The initial room they gave me had a multifunctional aircon, within 5 minutes I was in another room.The hotel is fresh and modern and all the cool amenities you might expect. In a lively Loftus Park, with a gym, supermarkets and tons of restaurants. And breakfast is always a hit.The ONLY thing I dislike are the towels they use, they are extremely hard and don’t absorb much. Apart from that, this is my first choice whenever I’m in Pretoria!

This is not a scenic location and in the middle of quite a lively place. The pool is in the bar area so not at all relaxing. The rooms were nice but we had an issue with our air conditioning and it took quite a while to sort out with us eventually having to move room. The service was generally slower than other places we stayed in South Africa and the communication not very forthcoming.

The service was excellent. I had delegates staying as well as used the conference room. The hotel staff assisted me nd attended to my every need at the cluck of the finger. I hosted a photoshoot and interview session at the skyline bar and they assisted me in everyway possible making my delegates feel so at home.

The rooms are clean..little bit noisie because of the Loftus Park nearby..Very Good Breakfast and the Skybar is nice with its Pool and an nice view over Pretoria especially when the Sun Goes down...!!

This is a pretty standard Protea Hotel. We arrived late at night in a rainstorm and no one was at the gate to let us in and the phone number on the website did not work. After driving around the area again to look for another entry, someone finally came to the gate. Check in was smooth, but no one helped with luggage. Room was comfortable and clean. Breakfasts are good variety with very attentive staff.

The Protea Loftus is definitely an oasis of decadent food and rejuvenating accommodation in central Pretoria.It was an absolute treat to stay there.The staff are so warm and super-efficient. They go above and beyond to attend to even the smallest query, always wearing a smile.The selection of food at both the breakfast and dinner buffets was divine gourmet excellence and had us over-indulging in an attempt to try out the delicious varieties on offer. Even the room service menu was prepared exquisitely with such attention to detail.The rooms with their cloud soft beds and beautiful scenery in addition to the luxury showers and overall atmosphere was such a refreshing change after a long day at work/conference.Definitely looking forward to my next stay there.
