Swatch Durban Gateway Theatre of Shopping

Hi, two Mondays ago I went in to change my battery, the sales associate said no stock, eta of new stock is Wednesday same week.I returned today 22-Dec-21 +/- 11h30, same sales associate said stock was received but not unpacked, & for security/safety reasons she cannot unpack it now, that another staff/guy is reporting to work 1pm & then only they will unpack it because there'll be 3 of them.Such an inconvenience having come all the way to Gateway specifically for this & be told this. Alas, I left again with no battery change, again. Very annoyed & disappointed!Amidst Covid-19 4th wave I was not going to wait around for 1 & a half hours -- you get zero stars from me!

The sales person was conversational and gave great insight and advice on watches, they have wonderfully affordable and stunning watches for all occasions. But I did not like the watch case box he gave me. Only saw later that it had scratches and looked old and cheap, unfortunately there was no going back, other than that the service was good

Not enough variety of watches. Needed a flik flak for my son but couldn't find a suitable style. Eventually found a swatch at another store.

The assistant was apathetic and disinterested (and thats putting it lightly. It felt like she was doing us a favor or inconveniencing her from her busy stall which had zero customers!

Not very big variety. The watches I wanted were out of the stock and assistant was unhelpful. Refused to take my details to let me know when it's back in stock. Said 'it's better to just pop in now and then to check' or call. I rather order online if I really want a swatch.

So surprised to have my battery( well my watch's) replaced free of charge. Rare good service in this day and age! Well done

The service of Swatch has gone absolutely down.The girls that work there are absolutely rude and act as if their doing you a favor ang giving you the watches free of charge.I also emailed the Swatch group(TRE), with no reply.Take your hard earned money elsewhere. You'll just end up spoiling your day at Swatch Gateway.
