You get what you pay for. It is a very nice ,sosial environment. There are communal bathrooms and showers, but it's spacious and clean. I do advise that you bring a fan. There are ceiling fans, but Sodwana gets hot!

If you are looking for a very affordable ocean holiday... This is the place..... It is a lot like camping with a caravan... Shared ablutions & kichens but your own private bedroom with a fridge... If you are easy, laid back and love the ocean this place will make you happy... A hardworking & friendly team with a beautiful and quiet litte hideaway.... They will definitely see us again soon...

Camp Jonathan Sodwana Bay
We stayed for three nights between Christmas and New Year. Family suite, 6 sleeper. Very social environment - communal kitchen with everything you need - open and very spacious. Staff wash the dishes for you. Perfect location, very close to the beach and shops but there is no decent braai meat on sale in the area - closest would probably be St Lucia, so take your own.Owners are friendly and accommodating.

this is a very amazing place in south africa. here you can find everything for a good rest. one of the best dives in the world, quad bikes with hippos, and just fun evenings in the company of people from all over the world. And most importantly, it is as safe as possible for you and your children. highly recommend camp janathan

First time in Sodwana bay and Camp Jonathan.Owners friendly, great hosts and assist as quick as they can.Set-up of the camp is great. Could keep kids busy under roof during rain.Swimming pool at the camp to entertain the kids for hours.Going back in March

Camp Jonathan Sodwana Bay
What a wonderful experience. Inna, Dawid and the employees were so friendly and assisted with every need. The place is clean, neat and we had so much fun. Love the kitchen area. Bathrooms were clean right through the day. Inna even phoned after we checked in to check up on us and said we can inform her if we need anything. I will recommend this place over and over. They will see us soon again. Tank you Inna Dawid and staff.
