Amazing place with natural things around very quite, you will be away from the busy town.Just take a note if is raining make sure you take the R101 entrance because the other 1will be muddy and lots of water.The swimming pool is a small 1. Good for 1 family at a time.Mobile network fluctuate so take note that you might not use normal calls. But there is 100% good wifi to communicate with via social media platforms.

What a amazing weekend brake a way. Cabens overlooking a water hole. You can enjoy the wild from your cabin. Many walking trails and as a bonus animal friendly

Very peaceful, relaxing, very clean,a walking distance to see the animals. The owner Theo is very welcoming and humble and the housekeepers are good

Really a cool vibe, cool ppl around. Just make sure you get enough food to last u a few days coz the shops are a bit far.

Place was terrible! I booked a luxuary house and ended up staying in a staff quarter. The toilet was so dirty its black inside! No person can live there!!! I took it up with the manager who then reffered me to the owner who has the worst personality ever! Rather close your doors! Please guys dont go here!

Beautifully basic, with a choice of camping, chalet and log cabins the essentials are provided also a clean ablution block. The farm and is more a working sheep farm with wild game on, but with no predditors you are free to walk peacefully in the bush enjoying the tranquility with animal and bird life.

We booked here at Grootgeluk for a week supporting local rugby event at school Very dissapointed we are woman having to drive very bad unsave road to camp at night only to arrive to a pitch dark place as electricity is off Have to hear about desputes with neighbours to excuse road closure as maps indicate and also about outstanding accounts for an excuse for electricity being off Chalets are fine staff friendly but CAN NOT be a 4rated star place if no electricity Seems on previous reviews electricity also a problem

We were a bunch of people who took quite a few chalets this weekend.There was no electricity. No hot water. Wasps that stung the kids at the play area.We were told that the generators runs for electricity only when we got there. . But they did not run enough for the fridges to keep things cold. I lost a whole value pack of lamb chops due to the electricity being off.During the day, my kids played music. The chalets next to us could not even hear the music, but we were told to put it softer.I don't see why I need to pay so much money for a room that has no electricity or hot water, and I get told what I am not allowed to do constantly.Not worth it at all!!!!!!! I will never go back there or refer someone to them.
