Food, no problem. Service was quick, although a front desk concierge to assist customers, when their waiters are occupied, would go a long way. The atmosphere is great, but the outside area is inside. It can be attributed to security, so it should be a 5/5 for that, but you're under a roof.

The food quality is good, the restaurant is medium size, you may sit inside to feel warm. If you want to quiet space you may sit outside. there is small playing area for kids.

I've forgotten how good Spur can be. For a while Spur became a bit pricey but the latest specials have been very good value for money. I'll definitely be coming back more often. The steak was done perfectly. I've noticed that hot plates aren't standard anymore, you have to ask for them. But nothing beats that sizzling plate with the salad sauce over the piping hot chips!! On our most recent visit, the special with extras worked out cheaper than my usual menu item.

We went for breakfast not expecting too much. Our waitress Sharon is totally first class. A wonderfu addition. A keeper and we were served a delicious full breakfast that was piping hot that we didnt wait an age for. Thank you Sharon!!!!! Lovely service.

Update. I have been contacted by the manager and the issues adressed. I have returned for a 2nd visit and the service and cleanliness is much better. This felt like the trusted Spur experience I am used to.I decided to order the chicken nachos for the first time today and was pleasantly surprised. The meat was tender and well seasoned. The overall meal was great as always.I have added a ✴️Previously:At first glance I was exited to see a Spur that I haven't seen before. The setup is quite tight and this is probably onw of the smallest ranches I've walked into. Sadly it appears that I got a new waiter that seems to be still finding their feet in this industry.The table I was seated at had a dry icecream stain on it, first time for me in a Spur that I experience this in a long time. The coffee arrived a bit cold and tasted weak compared to what I am use to.The play area is also little cramped, but based on the seating capacity makes sense, everything appears at a glance to be in working order.

Lovely afternoon lunch spent at this franchise, friendly and efficient staff - our waiter Andile was top notch and the manager on duty Ncube was welcoming and attentive.We ordered the pork ribs which are always the best.Thank you Ottawa Creek Spur, don't drop the standard.

Went for breakfast… it took over half an hour for our meals to arrive. Waitress Nonjabulo was unhelpful, unfriendly & very impolite! She took our order and disappeared (nowhere in sight at the premises) we had to ask other staff to find her!! Visited spur after many years and guess what, not much has changed with regards to slow, unhelpful staff. Food was just okay and I now remember why we stopped eating here years ago!

This is my first time coming to this Spur. The food is very good and the service is great. I like the play area where it keeps my daughter occupied while we enjoy our food.

Food and sitting area is good. But orders could have been paid more attention to. However still a good place to go. The bacon rocks.
