Man! This food is incredible.We are the fried prawns, and sweet and sour chicken. Bystanders came in to order the same because it smelled so good! I’d also recommend getting the iced tea with a moon & a monkey on. That was the best iced tea I ever had.We sat at the table outside and there are two more tables inside. It’s lovely there.

May not have the best sit down atmosphere and parking is difficult at times but the Yung Chen noodles with some extra chilli is amazing!

Great service and even greater quality of food. Big thanks to Moses the Sushi chef for a wonderful platter. Keep up the great work. Will definitely be going back for more. Check out Hyperli for a voucher for their 38-piece Sushi platter. Absolutely worth it.

Great food. Highly recommend the crispy chicken/beef. It is best to order ahead as there can be a wait if they are busy.

The restaurant is tucked away in a market place just off the main road(Jan Smuts). It's well lit, clean and the staff are friendly. On the other hand, the food, although having a very strong fragrance, unfortunately did not have much flavour and was quiet bland. Maybe it was my prepared dish on the day but the restaurant is popular with locals. The price of the food is in line with other Chinese restaurants (R70-R100).

Best wuntun soup in Johannesburg. 22 April 2022 update. So I have been getting Chinese Takeout from Yung Chen for so many years at least 2 or three times a month and the quality and consistency of the food has never changed. It is excellent and great value for money. We treated ourselves to a selection of chicken corn soup, egg fried rice, plain noodles, beef oyster sauce, black pepper beef and beef chop suey. Each meal as good as the next.. Just live these guys.
