Clearance 101

Clearance 101 is a outstanding company that delivers exceptionally service and goes above and beyond. I have been working with Billy that deliverer’s the best customer service and always goes above , beyond. Thank you Billy.

I am using them to get my Unabridged Birth Certificate. I know the process takes a while and is unpredictable but the lack of communication from Clearance 101 is very unprofessional. I live in the US and so my dad has been working with them for me. He has called and emailed multiple times, but he gets no response from them. He had to go their offices to get any sort of communication. At least they seem like nice people when he goes there. But please just communicate something to your clients!!!! This process is already super stressful, so please don't make it harder by not communicating!!!

I received the documents requested within the time frame. My only concern is the lack of communication, which can get very frustrating. It is almost impossible to get a hold of you on the phone and emails and whatsapp are not timeously answered either. If you were more efficient in this area, I would have given you a higher rating.

If you have time, money and energy to waste away.*I have to concur with many of the negative reviews that have been left here. I’m not one to leave reviews in general, and I do believe that people must be lifted up and extolled instead of being put down or ripped apart. If we are to grow as a species, then that’s the way we must operate. Treating each other with love, kindness, compassion and understanding. Viewing and observing with discrimination but not belittling any other.However, in the interests of sharing what is necessary - for I too have relied on reviews to procure this particular agents services - I will leave my verdict and experiences.It truly is a game of chance when you connect with any of these agents in general. Read the reviews and you will find a mixed bag of comments. So why do we do it? Because we are desperate. We need the said documents for a purpose and reason. We don’t want to wait a year or two to get them from Home Affairs as we have a life to get on with. So we use an agent and get fleeced financially for a service that’s promised (quoting Iris here) from “start to end”.I have found that Mguni Attorneys/Clearance 101 have not been honest in their approach and sharing. They promise what could potentially be an outcome, but not a guaranteed solution. Speak with Iris when you can, when the phone does get answered, and she is very sweet, very polite, but not very forthcoming or honest. She will say all the right things of course, but they lack honesty or integrity. Telephone calls often get ignored. Often messages are not read for weeks at times if they are too busy. Timelines are rarely met - you’re lucky if they are. Emails are not answered, unless it involves money. In that case you will receive an email response promptly and when you look to see the invoice number, you will see just how incredibly busy they are. Committed to taking in business but not necessarily delivering.I contacted Mguni Attorneys/Clearance 101 because their location was very convenient for me. I found them easily enough when I did a search and the reviews seemed very promising. Highly rated but things did seem a bit fishy to me for reasons I won’t share here. I now recognise that it’s very likely that some of the reviews were fake (a 5 star review from a Fortune Mnguni who happens to share the same name as the owner of the company?). As with many who were looking at a service requirement towards the end of last year, I too was met with many great promises when I called them. I reached out with a commission in October, after being told that the turnaround time is 15-20 working days. A few services were requested and a discount offered - however, the discount was promptly overlooked in time. There was no going the extra mile - even basics that were promised were not met. And like many others, with the ignoring and radio silence I too started thinking it’s a total scam. When I expressed that to Iris she finally shared photographic evidence of the items that had been retrieved to that point. With all the delays encountered, I kept giving the excuse that it’s because I had commissioned several pieces. I justified things that way both to Iris, as well as to myself.I enquired about closing for the year at the end of last year (wondering about when I could expect to receive the final outstanding certificate) and was told that they would only close after they had retrieved my paperwork. That sounded so nice. So professional and thoughtful and perfect customer service. All boxes for the right phrases, words and promises ticked ✔️. But of course that didn’t happen. Radio silence was what I encountered instead. No answering of phone calls, no reading of WhatsApp messages.

So impressed by the great service, quick turnaround of unabridged birth certificate and clear communication. Will definitely be recommending their services to anyone who is as frustrated with Home Affairs as I am!Thanks Iris

Clearance 101 provided us with exceptional service, Iris was professional at all times, she was responsive to my emails, courteous and friendly. We had our PCC within 10 days, printed correctly as well as being on the correct SAPS letterhead and paper. Iris helped me get certification from SAQA and apostilles from DIRCO. They got the docs quickly, considering the current covid measures and she always replied quickly when I queried the process. Not sure why people here are saying it's a scam, I had a great experience with Clearance 101
