The Magical Teepee Experience

A Hog's Life is as magical as it looks and true to it's name! Each animal gets royal treatment and is living the best life on the property. Anke goes out of her way to help, assist and rescue dogs on the mountain whilst running their Tipi accommodation like a boss! Her guests are amazing and we love when we're contacted for one of our UTV adventures. We're lucky to have such an amazing place that ads value to not only our and other businesses, but also to the doggo community. CamoHogs salutes you Anke & Tyl!!

It was amazing. Small things that could be done to make it more memorable. If you love the outdoors and can live without luxury, it's the place to go. It's a great place to go to get away from the rat race.

We stayed here during our trip in December from the Midlands to Cape Town. We found this spot on Airbnb and didn’t know what to expect but we’re pleasantly surprised on arrival. The tents are themed perfectly and surrounded by a quaint forrest that one could sit and admire for hours. Kitchen and loo’s are clean and provide more amenities than one could require. The hosts are are friendly and are doing a superb job.This was definitely one of the highlights of the trip and would highly recommend this to anyone passing through Hogsback.

Truly wonderful & unique experience! Always wanted to spend a night in a Teepee, truly Magical :-) Some of the great features: The Mexican Fire-pot, the Fairy Lights, the stunning Outdoor Braai spots... Highly recommended for a very special break-away.

There are 4 teepees with beds and fireplace. Each teepee has its own toilet and shower with hot water albeit a short distance from the teepees. The communal kitchen is attached to the main house which is the only area with very slow wifi. Its a great experience and would highly recommend it.

Disappointing stay. We arrived and our bedding was damp. We had to leave and find another place for the night. Owner refused to refund us for the stay.

Absolutely amazing! What an incredible experience! Clean bathrooms, clean kitchen, clean teepee, loved every moment of our stay there. Highly recommend! ♥️

Had a lovely experience with my wife, this is 5 star rated camping with a beautiful kitchen and bathroom facility, you have your own storage unit in the kitchen and your own bathroom/shower. Weather took a toll on us on our last day but the hosts were kind enough to offer us more wood to keep our fire burning through the night to keep us warm.
