I just finished the 10 day New Year Single Trail Tour.What can I say... It way exceeded my expectations.The trails: awesome, so different types every day, some more challenging and technical, some fast and just flowing.The guides were super friendly, helpful, knowledgable of the area and they became good friends.We were a nice small group of 8 and they handled difference in skills/power/ambition seamlessly on the fly by offering different routing options on the trails during the day.So the group basically stayed together although some sometimes took a different path with one of the guides.Lunch was a highlight every day. Brought to us to wherever we were at lunch time, including lunches 'in' (!) a beautiful, flowing, refreshing river where we could drink the water and refill our bottles with it.Mechanical issues were fixed in no time on the trail with our Guides having all necessary tools and parts at hand.Accommodation was chosen very carefully and was always of a very high standard and friendliness.I will come back and book a tour with them as soon as I can.Well done, Jennie, Doug, Dan, Jo, Diane, and Leandra

I'm very happy that I booked a skills clinic with iRide Africa, I ride in the UK normally and wanted to use a holiday to improve my skills. iRide Africa responded quickly to my email and were flexible to my requirements for both riding and mechanical skills and bike rental. I could not have been more delighted at getting exactly what I needed from their coaching and my riding has improved dramatically following the sessions. The coaching was practical, fun and easy to understand and they were able to give me advice on what I could expect on both South African and UK trails and how to use the skills I was learning appropriately. The rental bike was great too, in perfect condition and clearly well looked after. I couldn't be happier with what I learnt and I would highly recommend iRide Africa.

Did a bike mechanics/maintenance course with Daniel back in October prior to starting my trip. Very clear with instruction, super friendly - I knew nothing about bicycles but must be close to a bike mechanic myself now having used so much of his advice these past few months.Your guidance has helped me from Cape Town to Victoria Falls Daniel, Better get back in the saddle here - thanks so much.Derek

Me and a few colleagues were down in Cape Town a few days and booked bikes and guides for a tour out to Cape of Good Hope and back. 109 kilometers of beautiful roads. Guides (Daniel & Harry), service, bikes, roads, lunch (banana coconut smoothie starter gave us back some strength in our legs), was all perfect. We recommend anyone thinking of renting bikes in Cape Town to give them a call. You will not be disappointed! Best memory of SA for me, simply awesome.

I booked with iRide Africa a few weeks before arriving and the response was always within 24 hours and very professional. On my arrival in Cape Town I received a reminder email to confirm the pick up and was contacted regularly with updates on where I was going to ride and information on contingencies in case the weather was bad.On the ride day I was picked up by Joe. On the way out he discussed options with me and we eventually picked the perfect location. The ride itself was suitabley challenging for my fitness and skills and I felt perfectly confident that Joe was not going to take me anywhere that was beyond me.We finished off with a fantastic lunch at a winery. Highly recommend these guys and a big thanks to Joe for a fantastic day on the bike.

I rode with Joe, of iRide Africa this week and had a fantastic time. Starting with my first contact with iRide, the company was reassuringly and refreshingly professional. All my questions about rates and routes were quickly addressed, and the arrangements were easy to make. On the day of my scheduled ride, Joe picked me up right on time and put me at ease with his low-key yet professional demeanor. He is obviously an exceptionally experienced cyclist and guide. He brought a very fine bike for me to ride--a Stump Jumper FSR, which was in great condition. And then we rode: fantastic trails, hard but rewarding climbs, challenging descents . . . flowy single-track, and instagram worthy views everywhere. My usual mt biking is on forested single track in the US, so this was a different look--reminded me more of the trails I've ridden in Marin Co, California. In sum, I'm really glad I rode with iRide. (reading this over, you'd think I'm friends with the owner or something. I'm not. I'm just super satisfied).

Wow what a great service and person. After talking to different shops and tour operators we decided to go with iRideAfrica for our month long rent at CapeTown. Daniel was just amazing with tips and follow thru. We rented a couple of road bikes for the whole month and on a couple of weekends MTB. All of them in great conditions. If you are in CapeTown it's a most to rent bikes. Thanks Daniel

We had an awesome time with iRide in Jan this year. Riding round the Stellenbosch hills with Jennie was excellent fun (albeit very tiring in 35+ degrees) and Daniel oversaw the trip very smoothly. We only had a day trip booked but would love to come back and book something longer. Most defiantly recommended to anyone visiting Cape Town and wanting to get a real insight into areas and places to ride.Good luck Daniel and thanks again-Andy
