The Goat Shed bush bistro & bar
A no-nonsense watering hole. Under new management since November 2021. Have been there a couple of times - at lunch and dinner. Both food and atmosphere were good however there are some room for improvements, but guests were enjoying themselves. Currently (March 2022) they are doing 20% off everything on Wednesdays and Thursdays. A good alternative to eating in town. Give it a try and support a new and local business!

The Goat Shed bush bistro & bar
We ate here one night during our stay. Food and service was excellent, we had grilled fish and chips. Very relaxed atmosphere, lovely big fire, laid back music, groups of families and people from the village all enjoying themselves. Prices are reasonable and, although we haven't been here before, the owner told us that he has expanded the menu and is working towards supplying all the fresh vegetables from their own gardens and aquaponic system.

Such a lovely restaurant with a wonderful, comfortable, cozy atmosphere. They have excellent food, a wide selection of drinks that are reasonably priced and (my favourite bit) such friendly pets! If you aren't big on dogs and cats, this might not be the spot for you, because the dogs love coming up to the guests for a bit of a scritch, and Cat #2 is the cutest, purriest thing you'll ever meet.

Very dog friendly!! What a pleasant find close to Kenton. Rustic and friendly restaurant and pub. Food was tasty and the welcome and service good. Well worth a visit if you're in the area. Owner managed and run.

It's a typical Eastern Cape coastal setup. The vibe is great and there's lots of space. Great place for events. They've also got some accommodation available.

I must compliment the Goatshed team.We had my son's 21st there.Not only was the food great but served on time and at the same time.Also Matthew is an excellent host and our waitress was friendly and attentive.
