Full English breakfast with easy over eggs arrived as - Full English breakfast with extra well done eggs, burnt bacon and burnt tomatoes and super oily mushrooms..I left after the second plate arrived and waited 15min for the toast. When complaining the owner said , ohh we can not please everyone, you local? We are told you always complain. Really my husband replied. Yes the owner said we are a group of restaurant owners who talk about people like you.We are not from Stanford and it's the first time we ate at Gaze. We did not complain for no reason. We did not get what we ordered.The fact that the owner did not UNDERSTAND - we did not want extra well done eggs, burnt bacon and burnt tomatoes with extra oily mushrooms - says a lot. His solution, eat the breakfast cause we can not please everyone and I will not charged you...............maybe he should start listening to his customers and not the rotten gossip group he mentioned. Sorry but can not recommend Gaze.

Visited this shoebox size eatery in sweltering heat. We had to sit inside since it was packed. A ceiling / circulation fan or two would have helped. Kitchen was buzzing though and churning out exceptional food. Not often that an operation this size are so well staffed. The owners (and Stanford) can be proud of this little gem they created.

This place totally caught me off guard. I didn't expect to find great coffee (coming from a Capetonian), great selection of baked goods, and delicious breakfast options. They also have great healthy options too. The only catch is that they only open on specific days. When I was there last month it was Wednesday, Friday and Saturday. Would recommend again and again!!

This is hands down the best restaurant experience I've had. Everything was absolutely perfect, from the atmosphere and cleanliness, to the service and welcome. I had the Graze Goodlife breakfast and the bacon was perfectly cooked and crispy, the French toast soft and tender with high quality bread and egg and the berries fresh and sweet. What a treat!

Lovely experience. The trout and sweet corn waffle is amazing. Owner is lovely and despite the rush provides great service.

Delicious food and coffee. We had the eggs Benedict with trout on sweet potato rosti which was perfectly done. Just be prepared to wait. Coffee took 30 minutes to be served!

My wife and I were in Stanford for a wedding and thought we would catch a quick breakfast on the Saturday morning. What an awesome place!

We often stop by at Graze on a.Wednesday morning to pick some of the amazing vegetables they sell. We didn't have a full breakfast, but the croissants were very nice as are their cappuccinos. The smoothies were also delicious with fresh fruit and veg.

Lovely restaurant. Great food and service run by a husband and wife team. Had the Confit duck with bulger wheat mash. The fish was also amazing. Such good food in SA generally and this place was no exception. We had a table inside but asked for a table outside of one came free which it did. If you come to Stanford do yourself a favour and book a table. You won’t be disappointed.
