Was much better run and stocked before new owners took over. Overpriced, often no staff to pack groceries. Poor selection of products. No decent cold meat anymore. Bread rolls are often old and stale. Very poor all round. Seriously unimpressed.

Price asking is much higher than the other . There is never any ice at the shop or at tops. 3 times we have been there some of the meat was of and smelling realy bad. The other thing of the price range is that on most of their products they limit the price as they know most of the people would rather buy at spar and pay more(much more) than go to the shoprite or choppies.

Restaurant is terrible!!!! Sat down waited 10 min for menu. Not gteeted by staff. Menus dirty full of food! I would not recommend to anyone. Will not be back!

Since the new owner and manager took over we love shopping at Zeederberg Spar in Vaalwater. They have loads of specials, the store is neat and the staff are super friendly ! Well done to you all !

Most things you'd expect from a spar. Good service and helpful staff, though a couple of items were past their sell by date, however the manager did find me different brands and even gave me a discount on those items that she found for me.

The Spar has been under new ownership for over a year now. However, the intercom still announces it about every 10 minutes. WHY? Do you want us to go crazy?As for the prices, we all know this Spar is overpriced. Go look at the one at the Vineyard centre for a comparison. As an example, a litre milk is R30+ at Zeederberg but R24 at the Vineyard centre.Not only are they overpriced...but they constantly misprint or mislabel prices of items. Buy a Frys patties for R49.95 and pay R65.00 at the till. Buy a Kitkat for R11.99 but pay R14.99. You bunch of thieves.I have stopped buying there. I only used to buy there because of the convenient location.
