I had the best time learning how to cook typical malaysian dishes and was stunned how good it tasted in the end! Gamidah was very very nice and authentic :) Thank you!

Gamidah was absolutely wonderful throughout the entire experience! The food was delicious, and she vividly shared the rich history of the area and her ancestry. She was full of energy and everyone was laughing throughout the whole class! This course was a must for anyone looking to take home some local recipes!

We had a wonderful couple of hours with Lekka on Oct 25, 2019 Lekka welcomed us into her home, provided us with a very relaxing fun couple of hours of hands on cooking and shared many stories with us. Lekka has the warmest light-hearted personality and shared several great cooking tips with us. Highly recommend.

We joined Gamidah for a tour around the neighbourhood & a Cape Malay cooking workshop. A must do!Our whole family loved learning about the history of the area: the Dutch & English settlers, the ‘import’ of Malays and how this became the Cape Malay culture & food tradition. The spice shop was lovely to go through. The cooking workshop was super delicious, hands-on and loved learning the new dishes. Gamidah is super friendly, great energy and was a lovely experience to eat and cook in her home that she opens up to you. Go do it!
