ACDC Express Gezina

First time shopping at ACDC. Staff on the floor ignored me. Low stock on shelves. Struggled to find what I was looking for. Useless cashier. They won't see me again.

This store has a good vibe, Sibusiso is a great help. We found what we needed. The store is setout thoughtfully. We like it very much and recommend that you try visit it to see for yourself.

I bought 4 Blue Nova 13VDC 8AHh 104 Wh.  batteries from ACDC Gezina in total. The last two was bought on date 11 March 2022. One was installed in a brand new gate motor.After 8 weeks of batling to get the gate motor to work during loadshedding, i got the  gate installer to investigate the battery shutdown after two to three gate openings on the 12Volt system. He found the battery to loose power and the go into a tipe of sleep mode of shutdown mulfintion.I took the battery out and replaced it with the original 12 lead volt supplied battery and found it to work perfectly .The Blue Nova was then retuned to ACDC Gezina and the manager sent it to Blue Nova for inspection and testing. They reported back that the battery was 100 % but not sutable for gate motors.I spoke to Lioyed and JP from Blue Nova and none of them came back to me with a resonable explenation as to why the battery is wrong for gate motor operation or application.So now i have a surplus R870 Blue Nova batery sitting on a shelf in my store as decoration.I went back today 22/02/2023 to buy piggyback lugs and there was no stock. I then observed that all racks had extremely low stock levels all over.Drove to Centurion and got the lugs at a ridiculously high price of R54.00 per packet. Service at Centurion was vriendly and stock levels all over was high. Now a R54 packet of lugs cost me R154.00. Iff the feul usage lost is brought into consideration.You should stop with excuses to update your stock levels as per similar reviews and DO it.I will never support ACDC Gezina again and you are putting the franchise holders name in disarray.

Friendly staff, was extremely helpful on each and every of my visits here.This store has everything and more for AC of DC power project, no matter if it is a DIY or a contractor looking for electrical things.

Bar code scanners don't work, everything to be typed in by hand. Half the codes can't be found on the system.

This is a good shop with a good variety of products. The only problem I have is the service. The employees are always chatting to each other while helping you, so it takes much longer to be helped. Once I asked someone for help, he showed me something that I was not looking for. Another employee came and talked to him, then they both walked away without helping me

They don't have much stock, went there 4 times and couldn't find what I was looking for, try to talk to the manager but the manager is never there

No labels on their stock. The cashiers dont know what an item is. Really love to waste peoples time. The manager also looks at you ifhe is on a trip. Where is the stock control and customer realations. Staff likes to stand arround and chit chat,how about labeling your stock to prevent wasting of time.... really bad. Now how does the cashiers know wh stock item is.... Pictures taken after initial complaint...

Shelves are empty, 9 out of 10 visits could not find item in stock and was reffed by staff to iether ARB electrical or Voltex Electrical. Just easier to go to your electrical retailers directly instead of wasting your time going to ACDC Gezina.
