MTN Store - La Mercy

So just before my flight I asked Sizwe for a fast charger. He took one off the shelf and billed my credit card for R399. He then swopped the charger for another one explaining that the price is the same but this is for android. I'm not an expert but I did notice the 2nd was labelled 30W and the first was 38W. So not the same. I went to find a plug to charge my phone and sadly the phone did not register it as a fast charger and showed a charge time of 5.5 hours. I rushed back but Sizwe was no longer there. I explained to the other assistant the problem and handed the product back asking that they reverse the charge. The just managed to catch my flight. In the meantime the transaction was processed. I'll leave it to you to decide what Sizwe's case was.

Staff doesn't pay attention to the customers they don't smile or greet and they don't give out information that you need , feels like they work cause they need to and not cause they want to .

They never answer the calls. Definitely a lack in knowledge of how to run a business

last week i spoke to one of the staff members regarding APN settings that needed to be reset on my router, which the staff member said its not an issue anyone at the branch can do it, all i had to do was bring the router. today when i go with the router and explained what i needed which was not understood i was told i need to go to another branch where there is a technician that can do this and she thought my router was not working that is why i was told to bring it back to king shaka. MTN please ask staff to ask questions before giving out advice and educate staff on what can and cant be done for APN settings.

Sithembile and the other staff here are really knowledgable and efficient. Staff at Vodacom right next door don’t even notice customers walking into the shop.

I signed up for a phone contract with MTN on Sunday morning while i was picking up visitors from King Shaka Airport.I put all my paperwork in at 11.00 in the morning so Pretty Simamane who was on Duty at the time could do a credit check. Pretty said she knocks off work at 13.00 but she assured me that when i come back to the airport at 15.00 to pick up more visitors she would would make sure her work collegue would have the paperwork ready to sign and my phone would be ready. I would like to thank Pretty for her top notch customer etiquette and service which is hard to find these days. she definitely went the extra mile. just to mention she was on her own manning the shop all morning. Thank you Pretty you are a irreplacable asset to MTN.
