What a special place at an very affordable price! The friendly host made sure everything was satisfactory.We stayed in a campOvan set in beautifull surroundings. The caravan was very neat and clean with everything one needs for self catering. Even towels were provided. The ablutions was spotless. We had a very comfortable restful stay and will book this accommodation again when going that way.

Spacious, beautiful, affordable wedding venue! Very well maintained. Unique and interesting accommodation on site. Wildlife are a huge plus!

Really lovely place. Beautiful surroundings and awesome views. The campsite has no shade which is not so great, but the hosts put us up under a tree in their garden. Also the owner's house is really close to the veiw which was not bad as they just left us alone totally, but it took a little getting used to. On that note though they here just lovey. Very friendly and hospitibal. We where a large group and they allowed us the use of the hall without hesitation.

Chris-Elle is perfect for 1 night sleepover for a wedding function but not for weekend breakaway. The very neat cabins are located close to a busy road based near a factory.

Loved staying in the cottage as a stop over en route Cape Town. The animals - farm and wild, the river, the salt Bridge story/ legends, the lush grass and a perfect little cottage was just what we needed. This would be a lekker place to base oneself at in order to explore Swellendam and surrounds.

The venue was superb. The food was perfect. The atmosphere was intimate and cozy although there is a lot of open space. I really enjoyed the venue and the function.

Oh my, what a beautiful place. Made a piggy friend and a kitty friend. Bokkies running around! an all round nice place to stay over. We stayed in the Campovan, very neat and cozy. Will absolutely be back! Thanks Wilna
