History, hospitality, comfort, cleanliness, relaxation, space and happy pets. I highly recommend making this your stop-off point on an N2 trip into or out of Cape Town, or better still, stay for several nights and explore the entire area. So much to see with these well appointed cottages being the perfect central base to support explosions through the poort and into the winelands, or trips into the Aguhlus plains, Witsand, De Hoop and Swellendam.

All you need for an Awesome weekend getaway next to a river. Wild animals around at night . Only about 2 hours away from Cape Town .

This is a very nice setup and the accommodation is excellent. We had our children's wedding at this venue and the Hosts went out of their way to accommodate us in every aspect. Between load shedding and floods everything still went as planned. Juanika and Swen you are amazing people and thank you for an absolute blast of a wedding.

The host is EXCELLENT and always trying to cater to your specific needs. I can really recommend her.The wedding venue in the bush is really special.The entertainment hall is also really worth it.This venue is definitely something you should include in your options

The owner and his staff are fantastic and very accommodating people. The venue itself is beautiful. The facilities are very clean. The campsite in on the rivers edge and there are power oulets available. The cottages are beautiful as well. There are canoes you can use on the river. I highly recommed them whether you plan on camping or staying in one of the cottages.

Fantastic view of the river. Staying in an old farmhouse with an indoor fireplace. The owner's are very accommodating. Going to try fishing in the paddle boats on the river.
