Doringlaagte Camping & Chalets

Clean and beautiful camp sites. Bathrooms always in good condition. Chalets are also well kept. Our stay was nice and we enjoyed our jacuzzi at the chalet. We also enjoyed all the pools and the Karoo beach is something special. The kids had fun at the play park. All the bunnies hopping around are so cute. A family friendly holiday destination for sure

We really enjoyed our camping weekend at Doringlaagte. Very nice green camping sites. Ablution facilities are neat and clean. Lots of swimming facilities. I particularly enjoyed the 4x4 course. I will definitely recommend this camp site. Just be careful of the thorns. We got hurt a few times.

This has been our go to place for the past 5years and this year we introduced my sister and her family and they love it too.Clean toilets, warm water, wel looked after camping spots. A gem for the kids and adults alike.

We really enjoyed Doringlaagte. Only reason I'm giving it 4 stars is because the camping spots are really cramped ontop of each other. This will not bother many people, but we enjoy a bit of privacy and space. Also we didn't ask for private camping and as we spend our time there we saw other stands that was better and a bit more private. So maybe just ask when booking if you are like us. The people that stayed in the stand next to ours was so close that we really didn't have any privacy. They had a baby that cried the whole night. We didn't get shut eye, and went home really tired and just didn't relax as we really could have if the stands was just a bit further away. This place really has potential and the kids really loved it. We enjoyed some fishing and the grounds are clean.

Awesome Camping site.Very Kids friendly. We only saw them for food and sunblock runs.We had plenty to do as well. Will definitely do this camp annually with our friends.

Thoroughly enjoyed this campsite. Facilities are great, especially the bathrooms, they were kept clean and water was hot and good pressure. Stunning place for kids especially. Activities for everyone. Well organised.When booking, it would be a good idea to explicitly indicate if you are big group camping together so you don't end up with fences or bushes in-between your adjacent sites.

Awesome campground for family - and friend groups. Indoor heated swimming pool with bar - which has delicious cocktails - was amazing. Ablution facilities were always clean and there was no loud noise/music even though it was a long weekend and the camp was full. Will definitely return again.

Great place for the kids. The pools are just not clean, that is the only complain I have. Our kids really enjoyed the dams and adventures they had
