Food is always great!!If you enjoy traditionally cooked Portugues food then Castello is a must.Aroz Marisco, Dobrada and Feijoada is tops

We went to celebrate my daughter's birthday having a family dinner at the restaurant and booked accordingly. No extra effort made for her birthday. Food terrible! Ribs made my daughter's stomach hurt. The espetada was tasteless. The calamari was tough. No garlic butter or lemon butter. The salad was bare. The best thing was the was the warm bread as a starter.To top it off they charge you for tap water! What an extreme disappointment. Will never waste hard earned money there again.

Had a ball celebrating my granddaughters 20th with a good crowd. My fish dish was absolutely lovely xx definitely will go back during the 4,5 hour loadshedding for early dinner.

My first and last time ever going there. Service was bad and the salmon I ordered was full of bones. I could not eat it. The waitress still asked if I needed take away, duh!!! The bread we received was cold, like it came strate from the fridge. The salmon was the worst I have ever had. Please change yr menu ro salmon on the bone, it was terrible.I ended up eating chips and bread for dinner. What a waste of my money.

Chose a seafood platter for 1. And wow was it tasty! The food was all cooked perfectly and the chips! The chips reminded me of fish and chips from cape town, slap and vinigary! They even give extra vinegar on the table. Overall very lekker place to come with some of the best chips I’ve had in a long time.

I went the sometime last week with my family, thought I would try the restaurant out. From the moment you enter, the hostility is on another level. No one welcomed us, we had to request a waiter of which it took forever. The food no doubt it was lovely but the atmosphere, not conducive if you black/ dark skinned. Racism is real guys, go to Castelo for the experience. Well myself & hubby decided to lighten the atmosphere by keeping the waiter busy with our requests because we were not entertaining the idea of being isolated. It's like they dare you to leave the restaurant on purpose
