Not recommended: I had Harcourts manage the rental of my house. Orders were placed but not followed up. Likewise, invoices suddenly show up 10 months later. The semi-annual report was only issued after 9 months. If there was damage, it was not followed up consistently, just an email sent to a repairman. Tenant inquiries were not forwarded to me as the landlord. In the end, Harcourts collected 10% of the rent plus VAT, but didn't really do much. Never again.Jan.23: You responded to my comment and told me you will review and contact me. Nothing happened. Looks great on google"; but it confirms my statement. Not to recommand."

Disappointing service from the rentals., they Force all applicants to pay r250 admin fee which is acceptable BUT not if you never mentioned that you don't have sole mandate to rent on owner's behalf and the owner never looked at your application and just decided to rent out privately. I for one can afford it but my concern is for others and future applicants. I want to spare them the disappointment I went through. For me it's not about the money I want to protect my fellow potential applicants. And I tried to sort the matter out with the principal but he keeps avoiding the question about not mentioning that they don't have sole mandate. Don't insult my intelligence to keep om referring to the r250!!! Hear me I will say it ONCE MORE:: ITS NOT ABOUT THE MONEY!! ITS YOU NOT BEING PROFESSIONAL and putting people under false pretenses!!
