Nice and clean..I wish they have more variety in the fresh food section...just pastry all the time..maybe chicken strips or wings or something...not always pies,puffs etc

Went to this store this afternoon to buy mushrooms. Only one type, five packets and two packaging choices available in the product. The larger polystyrene tray was manually closed with a plastic cover, clearly the freshness was compromised. I unpacked the basket of items in my hand back onto the shelves and left for the close by Pick and Pay. The standard and offering of this Woolies foods don't make 2 stars, really. Pick n Pay was a different story, 5 minutes, in and out with all the grocers I was looking for.

The range is pretty fair and it's highly convenient when you're in the area. The staff is very helpful and they truly go the extra mile to make your shopping experience enjoyable. The products and produce is always fresh and up to snuff.

I visited Woolworths to purchase their Gluten Free bread rolls just to find that they were out of stock. I then spoke to a lady working there to confirm this. She, without hesitation said that she would check in their stock room. She came back to me to confirm that they were out of stock. I requested her to call other branches to see if they had stock. Unfortunately both, Cascades and The Liberty mall also had no stock. This lady, Benazir, then offered to call me tomorrow morning to let me know if new stock had come in. Benazir, thanx a million for your kindness and assistance you gave me. It's highly appreciated.

Rude grumpy lady behind the roast chicken counter. I asked for a specific chicken as it was larger, and she asked me if I wanted one with bacteria because she had to reach to get one behind another!!! I left to go to another woolworths which was so friendly. Won't go to Athlone again.
