Very disappointing. We were looking for somewhere for lunch but after being told that we couldn't get the most basic cold drinks as there were none in stock and someone had forgotten to order we eventually gave up and went elsewhere. We weren't the only ones either, we ran into another couple who left just before us and went to eat elsewhere.

Best food and service. The pizzas is on a thin baste and tasty. The beer on tap is the best for a warm day. The litchi milkshake is also a challenge to be accepted.

I phoned for a takeout delivery. After an hour had passed and I did not receive anything, or heard anything, I rang back to enquire what the problem was: only to be informed that the food will not be ready for another hour.Not acceptable.Communicate upfront that orders will take 2 hours or more. Then the customer at least has the option of making another plan.I love to support local business, but I am utterly disappointed.

Stopped for lunch on the way to Cape Town, a 5 minute detour from the N2. The eisbein is highly recommended, tasty with crispy skin served with a generous portion of wedges, a few onion rings and some fresh greens. If you are looking for a quick bite, don't come here, since the food is freshly made. A tip would be to order the food first, let the waiter put the food order in, then order your drinks after.

I had a terrible experience at this restaurant that ruined the rest of my trip. I ordered the Eisbein and waited a long time for my food. Within a few hours, I was hit with severe food poisoning and spent the entire night sick in the bathroom. It was the most miserable experience of my life and I was unable to enjoy the rest of my trip because of it. I had to cancel the rest of my plans and spend the remainder of my trip in bed recovering.
