Been going to PetMax in Cornubia for avout a year now when I started up my first Beta tank and have been overwhelmed with the Awesome service from Branden with setting up all our tanks and adding fish to it.If you are looking for the best advise and great service go have a chat to Branden.Attached some photos of the new tank and the fish we bought from Petmax a year ago still healthy and atrong.

Great pet store, friendly staff. My dogs can find their breed specific food there without any hassle. Stocks a variety of treats and also you can take a look at some of the pets they have for sale, they are well taken care of and given enough space. They stock a variety of pet clothes perfect for the winter or if your fur babies love clothes. Prices are reasonable.

I am a Fishkeeper for 34 years , own a club and a fish business myself, I have been going here for a while now, tanks always clean, no dead fish, all fish healthy and glowing. Best store by far in the Phoenix Umhlanga area. Staff very helpful and very friendly. I send all my club members there thank you guys so much....a breathe of fresh air.

So sad to see 2 large bunny in a small cage and they where fighting. I took pictures of the bunny's fighting. The shop sale mam tells a child that is looking at them that they are playing and I had to tell the child no they are adult bunnies and they fighting and kill each other. I had to walk out the pet shop crying because I can't do anything.

We went the the store this Friday and bought 6 fish... We were told that if the fish die within 24 hours we can receive a new one but bearing in mind we take a Pic and keep the receipt.. Which I thought was weird. We got home and did all the necessary transitions and an hour later the fish died... Then half an hour another died and then 2 days later the 3rd. Definitely won't be back to the store again.
