My colleagues and I purchased food last week friday from this Jimmys, for over R400. The food was really disappointing. The chicken that was given to us was so dry and had no flavour, it honestly tasted stale. We tried contacting this Jimmys as soon as we got to our office and tasted the food. An employee at the store told us that the manager Mr Loonat would get back to us, however we are still waiting. Due to the bad food we all went home hungry and just ate the chips as it was the only part of the meal that was edible.

Dissapointed with the time we waited for our food and the prawns I ordered was not fresh. 2nd time I ate food from this place and both experiences were not satisfactory. The second attachment is from another establishment on the same day which was much more up to standard.

Food was ok, even though it was quite oily. The 10-15 minute waiting time turned out in the end to be a 10+15 minute waiting time, during which we were able to hear how an owner can swear at his staff. Not sure what the reason was, but I’d rather go somewhere with a little more “harmony in the kitchen” in future. I also found the menu a little confusing, with very little fish options for a fish takeout establishment.

If I could, I would give them a 10 star rating. They have something to suit every one from fish, chicken, meat, and Prawns. Their food is flavoursome and each extremely reasonably priced. Their customers service is excellent, and I will most definitely be a lifetime customer at this branch.

Asked for Masala steak gatsby. They gave me a polony gatsby. Manager argued taking the staff side after we paid. Didn't even apologizeor offer to correct the mistake. If you want a tomato sauce gatsby, go to Jimmy's Killer fish and chips.

The Hake & Chips and The Gatsby are worth trying. The chips are fresh and crispy. Absolutely loved the Orange cappuccino. There is place to sit outside and some limited seating indoors. The staff are a bit slow however. Our order took 20+ minutes to arrive.

Disgusting !!! Please do not waste your time or money going here . Purchased x 2 burgers . The lettuce was ice cold , the cheese was off Cuts from a block of cheese and wasn't even melted in. The patties were falling apart and we bit into the burger I wasn't even sure if I was eating beef . On top of that the chips was oily , refried more than just once and excessive spice . Never again !!!
