Put aside a budget for legal fees if you decide to forge ahead. The Stinking Wealthy aren't interested in your well being. Why the heck don't they have minus star ratings. A one star is far too generous.

Developers hide behind an array of legal representation. You get past from pillar to post. nothing ever gets resolved."

Think again when buying, you will not receive any correspondence after the sale of your property whatsoever. I have been waiting for 7 months with no one giving me any answers to when and how I will be paid out. According to their contract you should be paid back in 30 days.How are we supposed to move on when they are holding on to our life savings.

My mother in law passed away in January 2016. Her unit at Harveston Retirement Village. My husband and his brother have still not been paid for the unit. We have gone as far as having a court order against them and they have still not paid!! Disgusting individuals with no care about the law and the rights of families. My parents sold their home over 18 months ago and they still have not received any month. These people duck and dive. Quick to take your money but when you sell you will not get your money. Disgusting what these people promise old people and make off with their money.

If you bought a life right in one of the 12 Retirement Villages of Belvedere Retirement Villages/Retire Well in the West Rand, it appears you should not sign the Belvedere cancellation agreement. Always use a lawyer when giving notice to cancel life rights. Your lawyer must first do a very detailed investigation, and only then should your lawyer draft a watertight cancellation agreement.My in-laws unfortunately didn’t know this and went through hell to get their money back.Best not to buy a property with only life rights.

Put down a deposit and took nearly two years and two court cases to get it back. Bunch of fraudsters. Keep well clear of Belvedere and RetireWellSA
