Amazing pet friendly accommodation, only a few quick steps away from the beach. The interior design has had so much thought put into it. I went with my partner and my family for three nights during our trip to Cape Town this month, only an hour’s drive. The host was very responsive and super helpful with some special requests we made. Couldn’t recommend this place more and will definitely be back.

Staff was extremely friendly and had great communication throughout. I had some personal requests to help me celebrate my 2 year anniversary with my girlfriend and they were only too happy to oblige. Accommodation was clean, modern and very luxurious. I’d recommend to any person looking for a relaxing getaway and an experience different from others.

Recently stayed here at this wonderful property. The location was great and accessible for all local amenities. Hosts were very helpful and informative about local attractions. Wouldn’t hesitate to recommend this place and we will be back again soon. Thanks.

The Boat House is a cute 1 bedroom, 1 loft apartment one property over from the beach. There is no beach view but the beach is only a few meters away. The loft is open, so no privacy and no curtains so it’s really bright day and night. With only one bathroom it’s really not ideal for 2 couples.The design and decor are amazing and there are some thoughtful touches around the place. Although for the price wood, fire lighters and coffee pods for the Nespresso should all be included and provided. There was also no soap on the bathroom. The pictures on Airbnb are misleading as the Land Rover and Scooter are not available or included.Overall we enjoyed our stay in Yzerfontien which is a quaint beach town but found the Boat House to be over priced.

This space is exquisite. A very carefully and thoughtfully curated space with beautiful books and plants! Each area of the boathouse has been thought through from the wonderful dining table to the windows and wooden, privacy shutters allowing soft, filtered light in. I loved the fireplace and appreciated the wood and firefighters generously provided. All linen and blankets has been carefully chosen and further contributed to one feeling at home ! Thank you for all the love and care you have put into this space: I came back with my children and they just loved it too.

Dishonest marketing. Booking.com and the confirmation showed a place on the beach. The boat house is actually hidden away, behind the main house. Agent and owner didn't care, claimed we made a mistake, and lied about things we had said.
