Very well kept shop with a selection to choose from and not limited to a brand or two. Staff are friendly and efficient and you can always find a trolley

Nice store, but I do feel the pay queues get in the way of shoppers, especially at the veggie section. It's difficult to get around. The bread section is also a traffic jam area.

Good store. A little cramped for space but pretty decent. The disappointment is the safety. Been here many times and witnessed shocking (abusive and almost violent) behavior from intoxicated customers. I don't think this mall in general is very safe.

Checkers have been dependable and consistent. They have a great fresh fruit and veg area. They've been our go-to for big food shopping.

The store is always appealing, efficient and has sales every now and then. Great staff.

I have just been in Checkers Watercrest Mall and saw this special on hot cross buns. I took a photo as fairly regularly we don't get charged the special prices at the till! Sure enough, when I got there with my 6 packets of buns, which should have cost a total of 17.50 each, I was charged R29.99 for each (nearly R75 in excess of what was due). I pointed this out to the cashier, who called the assistant manager, who took 7 minutes to come. Firstly he accused me of having taken my buns from a different shelf (I didn't and actually those I had were the only ones in the store), then he slowly worked out what I should have been charged, then reversed each packet on the till, then walked off with no apology whatsoever. Poor customer service, a waste of my time and yet again the system not picking up the specials. Please Checkers train your staff, especially the managers, to treat the customers with more grace!

Our Checkers at Watercrest Mall is our go to shop for most items. Wife also loves Checkers 60/60. So convenient. Friendly staff in shop and reasonable prices on most products.

My only complaint is staff are too busy talking to each other and ignore the customer they're supposed to be seeing too. As for the sixty60 staff they just push you out the way and believe they have right of way. Checkers needs to teach staff about customer service.

Nice variety at the beautiful bakery, nice variety of fish. A little cramped when lining up at the tills. Certain Staff not very helpful.
