You will not find a better bagel in Johannesburg! Tracy and her team serves freshly-baked, homemade bagels with the tastiest fillings every Saturday and Sunday right next to Delta Park. It has become one of our favourite weekend rituals to come to the park for a long walk and then grab a coffee and bagel on our way home. Our favourite is the trout bagel, but everything else we’ve tried is just as delicious! You can even buy some frozen bagels to take home and pop in your toaster. Not only is the food delicious, Tracy and her team always bring the positive vibes to the weekend. This is a Joburg must! Make a plan to stop by!

Birds Bagels has the best bagels in Joburg. They use the same venue as Mr Pants wine bar, but only in the morning. I had a Zaatar bagel with smoked trout, cream cheese and capers. It was utterly delicious. They prepared it on site and served it to me in a matter of minutes. It’s very well priced too. I will definitely be visiting them again.

What a fabulous find! The location is charming and bagels are out of this world! A perfect way to end a walk through Delta Park on a weekend. The team is just lovely and the bagels, well ... you owe it to yourself to try them.
