We didn't get what we booked online. Room wasn't fully ready.Staff did not inform us of load shedding times (we are not from the area, so this is important).The room is equipped for this eventuality.Local food joint was horrendous & as they have a restaurant on site, this was closed. They could have asked if they could leave something in the room (for weary travellers on the road)

Absolutely fabulous rooms with special personal touches and a great 'Stables' restaurant and shop. Gorgeous beds, heated floors, and ambiance. Highly recommended.

Best place I have been to date. Super clean , great service and best food. Sunrise at its best. Driven past here many a times but this time stayed over. A must stay over

This was our second stay at La Riviera. Service was good and pre-ordered cheese and snacks was just what the doctor ordered after a long drive. Sunset over a glass of wine was rewarding.The room was well prepared for load shedding (which one tends to forget about when travelling).

Always a treat to visit them. Clean quiet upmarket rooms, friendly staff. The daily rusks, wine and nougut sweet are a real treat. Highly recommended.
