MTN Store - CPT Domestic Arrivals

I have tried calling, messaging and responding to stop the incessant spam messages by MTN.I was told at the airport kiosk in Cape Town when I signed up for MTN service that I would not get unsolicited texts. Yet, they continue to do so.Your phone and message people don’t know or gave me false information on how to stop the texts.MTN phone and messaging support staff gave me false information on how to stop the spam.Best to go with another carrierUpdateI followed the directions given. I am still being spammed. MTN keeps telling me to go and do this and that rather than them fixing their spam which I was told they they had when I got the sim. I have been a customer for years when visiting. This is intolerable. MTN is horribleUpdateResponded to MTN saying they would contact me. Four days later no response even after I advised I was leaving the country.No response to my request for information on where to escalate with the government of South Africa.MTN does not care about Customers. They make money of spam and have a vested interest in spam texts and calls. I don’t appreciate their lack of caring and failure to provide me with documentation related to my cellular contract.Next trip Virgin Mobile.

Getting a SIM card for local calls and data was quick, simple and she even fitted the SIM and configured my phone. All done in 10 minutes! Excellent.

I had such a wonderful experience experience at the store with Faheima, Mathebe and Ruzane. They were so patient and professional, addressing every problem I had with a flare of comedy and confidence. Truly one of the best mtn experiences I had in a while. Service with a smile. Thank you !

Ruzane is exceptional when it comes to service. My experience at CT International Airport. He went out of his way to ensure that my sim swap was successfully completed. This included called his supervisor who was off duty to kindly assist. I am a very happy customer. Very impressed indeed

Some next level con artists working at this store and trying to trick tourists into buying 20GB of data when you only need the same amount of data that you would use in your home country. If you know how much you use back home then get a similar amount and don't let them tell you anything else. The worst is Ebrahiem the guy on the left, please do not entertain his sweet talk.
