Legal Aid SA Durban Local Office
I've lost count of how many times I have been at the Durban offices for an Estate case that has been pending since November 2018. It's always excuse after excuse. Worst service ever. I've left my details for an update. No one calls back. I've sent emails, and I get no reply. This is very frustrating and they don't care.

Called because I needed advice over the telephone regarding a query I have with home affairs. The Receptionist didn't even give me a chance to speak to someone. Gave me a number to call that I've been trying to call and no one picks up. She was rude.

Receptionist Shaeena, rude as ever.Does not give you a chance to talk when you call in, She doesn't listen, she just responds and assumes things.Lord have mercy on her.Worst person to ever answer a phone.Most frustrating experience ever, than asks you in a stern voice what did you say.Then accuses you of swearing her.Legal aid Durban branch.She needs medical evaluation.

A family member required assistance. Went there and was able to see a lawyer. Thereafter he was told he would need to come back after paperwork had been drawn up. 3+ months later still no message or email to say paperwork was ready. So when he went back to enquire was told 'oh sorry, that lawyer had been off sick for 3 months already and all his clients were expected to come in and be allocated someone ellse for assistance because they did not know when he would be back'.

Great new offices, Receptionist is a Sweetie. The Paralegal I saw was unhelpful and somewhat arrogant.
