Delicious food but what a stress it was when they arrived late and did not even think it necessary to apologise!

It was a wedding reception. Although they freaked out the mother of the bride by arriving much later than promised, the starter course was delayed by about 40 mins, but the rest was on time, and the food was top notch.

I had my function on Saturday 5th June. We were supposed to serve supper at 6pm and that is the arrangement that I made with Spitmeister. Unfortunately our function ran 30 minutes late because of loadshedding and we were only able to serve a bit later. The electricity was supposed to go on at 6pm but it only came on at around 620. Marvin who was our braai man showed great irritation for the rest of the evening. I felt like I was walking on egg shells with him and as a result I started to rush our guests. I definitely will not be making use of them anymore. Functions can run off track because of issues beyond the hosts control. You need to be professional about it and adjust yourself and mood appropriately. If i needed to pay extra for the hour that could have been arranged, but don't be annoyed and irritated.

This is the worst company I have ever done business with. We booked an event with them but arranged that the time should be 7pm and not their standard 8pm. This was approved, all documentation confirmed the time, but on the day, the poor braaier arrived late. After contacting Willie to find out what the issue was, he insisted we were wrong. After a long and very rude conversation, he said he would give us 25% of our fee back if he was wrong, because he was so adamant that it was our fault. Once he then realized it was his mistake, he gave us the 25% back, but took it out of his staff's money! He was extremely rude, very poor manners and lies through his teeth. On top of everything, the food was terrible and his response was Well what did you expect". Never use these people

Absolutely disgrace. Paid a deposit for a 60th, but due to Covid19 could have the function. I asked for my deposit back and they refusedDO NOT USE THEM THEY ARE MONEY GRABBING PEOPLE.

WOW! Awesome service - Awesome food - Awesome people. Absolutely one of the best that we have ever used - HIGHLY recommended!
