If you are looking for a family atmosphere and some riding this is the place to be. Gavin and his staff are amazing. Always going the extra mile. Lovely home cooked meals and lots of activities for the kids. It's the small things like mashmellows on sticks so the kids can go roast them(adult supervision needed obviously) that made our stay wonderful.

As far as conferencing goes; very helpful staff' very tasty food good large hall facility. Good extras with tennis, puttputt' outside entertainment areas, swimming pool, squash, and walks.

Under new management for maintenance upgrades with soon to be 3 bedroom self catering cottage. Looking awesome. A great turn around. The place to unwind relax and enjoy open spaces with fresh air beautiful sunsets and plenty place for kids to be kids.

The place is absolutely beautiful overlooking the roling hills of KZN although it get really cold in the evening and in the morning, the days warm and beautiful. There is so much activities for young and old, from table tennis bike rides horses and a swimming pool to full court tennis and mini golf. Really enjoyed the venue looking forward to my next visit

Wanted to make a booking at Sierra last week. Spoke to the rudest woman, Mel, that kept raising her voice at me over the phone and she’s terribly ill mannered. Decided to go elsewhere, if that’s the person they hire to deal with guests....what’s the rest like. Goodness!

Great resort. Ample parking. Reasonably priced for bed and breakfast. Beautiful views, horses for horse riding, big pool and mini golf to keep entertained. The saloon barmen are on point. The food is ok, no garnish, that's my only disappointment.

A home away from home!The guest houses exceeded my expectations. The rooms are large, airy and clean. The food is amazing and the staff is amazing and friendly- they cater to the guest's needs.*large clean rooms*clean, nicely maintained garden*great food*Friendly service*amazing staff*SUPER CHEAP BAR - cheapest in Mooi River*they have a relaxation lounge where a fireplace keeps you nice and comfortable*Serene & private*nice pool area

Like Phoenix rising from the ashes, this venue is on the rise after a torrid time from Covid lockdowns to looting sprees. The staff were friendly and our group of Citroen 2 Cv's had a wonderful time together there. The few glitches were understandable and management pulled out all the stops to give us a lovely long weekend.

I happened to stop in at Sierra Ranch a few weeks ago on my way to Nottingham Road to quench my thirst. I had attended several motorcycle rallies there in the 80's. I decided to take a trip down memory lane with my new girlfriend by showing her around. I was pleasantly impressed by the upgrading of the establishment. The new owners have magically transformed what was a very run down Hotel to a spectacular venue for the whole family. I was so impressed that we are planning to take some leave in the winter to re-visit the legend that it was in years gone by. Well done and good luck for the future. Your hard work will pay off and your attitude towards patrons is awesome.

Amazing place to come and relax!! Many great activities to keep the kids busy! Great company and the staff really try their best to meet your requirements.. Also really fun enduro riding for all different skill levels! Absolutely love this place! Definitely would recommend.
