Dis-Chem Pharmacy Kenilworth Centre

The Dischem Kenilworth Centre branch is by far the worst of its stores. The most of the staff act like they doing you a favour when doing their jobs and some others don't even bother doing their jobs. Only a handful of friendly helpful staff. In addition to this my doctor ordered a vaccine during my pregnancy which 1 doesn't need a script but at this store they advised that they do and can only give it if I consult with their online doctors. I refused and called my doctor for a script to which he advised we don't need 1 however he will send. This then saves me over R500 because the vaccine alone is R455 and apparently R1035 without a script. I feel like it's just a money making scam and they should inform people better because if I didn't question why the vaccine was so expensive, They would have never broken down the cost and I would have just ended up paying R1035.

Well layed out pharmacy with friendly and helpful staff. A big range of products to choose from however this place is not cheaper as their name suggests Discounted Chemist"."

A well organised store offering a variety of services ranging from pharmacy, beauty products, infirmity products like adult diapers and a variety of other products like Dettol, etc.

Would give them 0 stars if I could. Worst Dischem clinic I've been to. Make you wait for hours, unhelpful, extremely slow and have the worst attitudes

Wish i could give the dispensary a 0 rating if i could. Shockingly bad attitude and service from pharmacist Crystal and not the 1st time either. Refused to help a long time customer who desperately needed crucial medication, citing original script needed even though one was submitted months ago.Refused to listen to customers needs. Staff seriously need training on etiquette and customer service. Give this store a miss guys and spend your money elsewhere.....

Dispensed an iron supplement with bovine (meat product) to a vegan - when called to dispute/get a replacement was told sorry you opened the container

I return a hair dryer thats over heating and stops working for a while until it's cold and works again I when in my tea time the store manager said he checked it out for 30 minutes and works normal according to him but I left the shop 10:20 according to my understanding that 15 minutes but on top of that the Maneger said he will send it away but I the customer must pay for courier fee can you believe that I mean really now I hope someone can assist me with customer relations experience

Dischemmm!!! You 100000000% need more staff at all of your branches that are as proactive, well-mannered and helpful as Yolande in the cosmetics section at your Kenilworth Centre branch. She was a true ray of sunshine, she made my day. Nothing was too much to ask of her, and she went out of her way to ensure I got what I needed, and then some (in the best way possible). If it weren't for her, I would have bought the wrong products and had waste time shopping around elsewhere to get what I needed. She knew her stuff, and was well versed with the store layout and where I could find things, amazing!! Thank you Yolande! Date of store visit, the 26th of May. Give that woman an increase/promo!! :) xx

They always have what you need. On occasion when I need to find a staff member it can be frustrating but they are knowledgeable about their products and will go the extra mile to help you.
