Arumvale Country House

Heavenly place with breathtaking views!We enjoyed every moment and wish we could have stayed for longer. The fireplace and braai were stacked and ready to just be lit. George was a great host and Carol really went above and beyond to courier our dog's favorite ball that got left behind back to us. Thanks a million for everything!

I had a wonderful 2day stay at your property, peace and tranquility at best. Friendly owners and very accommodating a must stay if you are in Swellendam. I will highly recommend your property!

An absolute MUST to visit! Stunning apartments, friendly and helpful staff, the swimming pool was heavenly,Two things though... No aircons in Summer is a problem. No Generator when it's loadshedding is a problem.

Had an absolutely wonderfull weekend away, the guest cottage was the perfect home away from home. The cottage was clean and well stocked with firewood. The weather was a bit on the cold and rainy side but the view and a roaring fireplace made up for anything the weather could throw towards us. The hosts were stunning and I could not have asked for a better get away.

This place not only has the best online photos, but the real views are even better.Beautiful rooms. Beautiful Garden. Relaxing and comfortable in every way. Rest for the soul!

Beautiful resting place after a hot journey. Peaceful garden, swimming pool and lovely mountain views. The rooms are beautifully decorated and a friendly owner is always ready to help! Close to the Marloth reserve.

The room we stayed in can hardly be self catering. Very small . Needs a good clean.

Beautiful views, hosts welcoming. Good location to pop around Swellendam. Nice walk/jogging trails into the forest.

My Husband, My Mother In law and I stayed at Arumvale Lodge in Swellendam. We left Cape Town quite late and arrive at the lodge around 7pm. George was amazing. He even got charcoal ready for us just to braai and go to bed as we were already tired of the day work and the long road. The room overlooks a beautiful valley with mountains in the background. We only stay for 1 night but the room was beautiful and the best part is that they are dog friendly. In the morning we took a dip in the pool and I am not sure if the pool is a heated pool as the water was not to cold. The pool was amazing. The staff is also very friendly. 5 stars for Arumvale for views, friendly staff and all the help we got just for 1 night.
