I had a great experience getting my first tattoo at African Gangster. All the staff were friendly and made sure I was comfortable at all times. They were clean, professional and they do great tattoos. Jason showed me how he ensures that his tattoo equipment is clean and sterile, which added an extra layer of comfortability.

I've always been someone who values effort and art. Now combine effort with creative art and you get Timmy. He did an amazing job on a piece that meant alot to me. Thank you once again for doing a great job. NB: still in awe of the incredible shading he did on my tattoo. I have absolutely no complaints. I can definitely say Timmy and Jason have amazing talent and would recommend them without any hesitation. :)

The artists and piercers were so nice, helpful and welcoming. I gave the gist of what i wanted and they came up with a unique design and applied it perfectly. The pricing was also reasonable and it was an all in all great experience. AG you will see me again!

Professional, Experienced & Excellent Service!! Got some piercings done by Timmy and was so impressed with his service and knowledge, that I went back 2 weeks later and got some ink from him. The vibe is chilled, shop is extremely clean and the artists is the best. They make you feel comfortable and as if they know you for years. But the best of all is his work. I'm so happy with my new ink will definitely recommend them, and will definitely be back!!

Absolutely the best tattoo studio in SA. Staff is super friendly and made us feel at home. We got married on the 9th of December, and went for our 1st tattoo together. We where so chuffed with Jason's work we went back the next day and got more work done. We will definitely drive all the way from Fish Hoek to get more work done with Jason shortly.
