Unfriendly staff. I called from the front desk and staff carried on chatting and ignored me. When they eventually served me they didn’t tell me when it would be ready. I didn’t get an sms to say it was ready either. When I fetched it 3 days later it was folded and packaged but when I got home all the clothes were still dirty. So I had to waster water and time and money and wash it all myself

I have deliberately delayed my review to see whether this business actually cares about their customers, and whether they would eventually get back to me. They did not.A number of issues. Firstly I sent 3 suits for dry cleaning. I was told they would be ready by a Saturday, and that I would receive a message to let me know. On the Sunday I still had not received the message so I called the number on the slip. I was told that they could not find my ticket and had no idea where my suits could be. I was also promised a call back within 5 minutes. 8 days later and I am still awaiting the call. I immediately went to the store as I was concerned. Turns out the suits were there, which was the one positive thing.I did not check the suits there as I was in a rush. The next day, I noticed that a button on 1 of my suits was broken in half. I went to the store to show them. They promised to investigate and to provide me with feedback that same day, as I wanted to know how they would remedy this. Once again, a week later I am yet to receive any feedback.If you value your belongings, do not take them to this place. They claim on their website that they are more expensive than others (they certainly are) but that they make up for it by the service rendered (they certainly do not).

18/03/22: RESOLVED. Lou Ann from The Launderers arranged for the duvet to be replaced which I received today. Thank you very much for attending to this matter. Lou Ann ensured the matter was dealt with once it came to her attention, great work.11/01/22: CROOKS!! We send our Granny Goose Four Season duvet inner for cleaning and received a call from someone a few days later saying they unfortunately spoiled it but will replace it. Days became weeks and weeks became months. They never returned the spoiled" duvet inner nor compensated us. A threat of opening a case of theft felled on death ears. Their story keeps changing to tire us out. They are not trustworthy and crooks."

Have always had wonderful experiences here and became good friends with the staff. The other reviews here seem weird to me. Maybe try be friendly to the staff and they'll be friendly back? I dunno.

Absolutely incredible service receives from the team at The Launderers! After being shown away by many smaller laundry outfits in Cape Town, the whole team at The Launderers came to the rescue helping me getting my clothes dry in time for my flight to Turkey. I would highly recommend The Launderers. You guys were great!

Missing item from dry cleaning and since a while having to run after them to look for it. They effectively didn't return half of the item... OK that can happen, fair enough. But 0 interest in resolving this. I will escalate this further. Don't go there!Update: reached out as per below

The problem I have with this company is the lady answering calls whenever you are enquiring or asking something regarding your own stuff. She's rude and disrespectful. Doesn't even care that she's paid because we brought business to her. She's unbelievable and I don't know if she's the owner or just an employee but eish, she's a python

I visited the shop in De Waterkant. When we arrived the lady was unfriendly and demanded that we separate our colours and whites, which is the first laundromat we’ve experienced that asked this. When we weighed our clothes the one bag said it was 7kg which sounded heavy. It was also super pricey so we decided to try another one. When we weighed that exact same bag at the other laundromat it weighed 4kg. This place definitely calibrated their scale incorrectly and charges much more than they should. I even called the manager and they were not friendly or helpful at all. I definitely do not recommend this place

Hi I have a question about how you weigh laundry and determine pricing. I weighed my clothes using my basket and it weighed in at just under 4 KG, when I used your basket it weighed over 6 KG. I then spoke to your manager about it and she explained that the scale has to be zero'd out. Something doesn't add up to me here. I've been doing my laundry here for a few months and I don't understand how the actual weight of my laundry is being distorted by a whole 2 KG.Thank you

We have had a few great experiences with this laundromat and we will be continuing to use their services as we received nothing but the best quality in washing of our clothes, bedding, etc.
