Hazeldean Farm parkrun

Very nice parkrun, love the trail section through the shrub and trees. Market with food and other activities (horse rides) to do post the run

A lovely parkrun in the bushveld. Most of the run is on single track trail which is clearly marked, but has some rocks and roots sticking out. There are a few wooden bridges to help you over the fences (I think three). There is plenty parking. There are toilet facilities. The run starts and ends right by the cow shed market so you can go get coffee afterwards. Make sure to be early as you have to travel on a gravel road.

Very friendly environment, the people and the volunteers are. If you want to have fun while running or walking, go to this place. I like the fact that it's like you are in the country side while you are in the city with nature close to you and a few animals. Kids also enjoy this place as they get to see animals.You can walk or run depending on you while you are keeping fit. There are various stores where you can sit down drink coffee or other cold/hot beverages and even have breakfast or snacks after the parkrun. There are goodies that you can pick up on your way home as well.It's a very neat, beautiful & a secured environment where people spend their Saturday mornings while getting healthy

Great group of volunteers. The day was bleak with impending rain but... Every Saturday is parkrun day! The course was flat with plenty of big rocks protruding. Wonderful parkrun though

Excellent trails. MyRun, Parkrun, Revolution Trails, Prestige and more events presented on a rotational basis every weekend. Trails open during the week also and for a nominal fee can be used throughout the day. Personally, the lager is the pick of the Hazeldean brews.

It's wonderful to run here. You run through nature and past cows and birds. Even horses. And you can grab a nice breakfast at the cowhouse afterwards. Just be prepared on muddy days, bring an extra pair of shoes. It's quite dirty lol. But so much fun!

Such a pleasant trail to run. Mostly flat and trail/bush terrain.

Family fun. On wet days I would recommend hiking shoes or your oldest pair of tekkies. Not pram friendly with the single track, but super fun with a baby carrier. We normally do a park run in 45 to 60 min, this wet, muddy trip took 1h30min.Will do it again in a heartbeat.Double check the website to ensure the event is not cancelled.

Best place to be. First it is on the farm then in the bushvelt.market and play ground for kids.

Awesome! Great view and good for beginners. The run is nice and flat through the veld and pathways.You can also bring your dogs, as long as they are on a leash.Market for koffee, drinks and food afterwards.
