CALTEX WELRIDGE AUTO
Although the service is a bit laid-back, it is still very worth a few kilometers' drive to come fill up here with diesel. Example -I saved R1.84 per litre this morning (27 Mar '21) by filling up there rather than my nearest filling station. So my summary is that it's well worth the visit!!

Always had really positive experiences at this station and their Diesel is always A WHOLE LOT cheaper than any other station which is fantastic.

CALTEX WELRIDGE AUTO
They advertise their cheap fuel far and wide and when you get there the Diesel is supposedly sold out. Most probably preferring to sell it more expensively a day later when fuel prices have gone up

I have used this garage for many years and I have never experienced such terrible customer service. A petrol attendant by the name of *NKOSI* failed to create order at his fuel pump as many people arrived to put fuel into their vehicles. When it was our turn to put fuel he directed other cars and disregarded us. Furthermore, he then spoke to us in an extremely condescending manner and even went as far as questioning our affordability when we asked for a certain amount of fuel. His customer service does not even deserve this one star.

I have had a terrible experience with this garage. I filled up my vehicle on the Wednesday 02 March 2022 with and within two days my car would not start. I have tank my car to VW and they advised that I have water in my fuel. Th direct result of this is that I have had to replace my fuel pump and have had to drain all the fuel from my car. I have noticed that another customer posted not to long ago that they have also discovered water in their fuel and it seems that it is a common problem at this garage.

Every time I come here, there is always a shortage of staff. The waiting times are unacceptable. And you can see how the petrol attendants are running around trying to help 3 customers at a time. You cannot over work your staff like this

I have used the station a few times. Today and 2 weeks ago they spilled fuel down my car and the paving. So much so that the pavement is wet. I am furious. I have to pay for the fuel they spill and my paint on the vehicle is being damaged. I will never use them again , nor recommend it. I am also going to lodge a complaint with the Caltex head office. If this has happened to anyone else , I recommend you also submit a complaint.FUEL is Expensive!

I only use this filling station, and have done for two years. I’m now sitting in Cape Town having my fuel tank and system drained and cleaned due to water in my diesel! I filled up there on Sunday before leaving and by Bloemfontein my water warning light started flashing! Please guys, dip your tanks for water DAILY!

Chaos in the forecourt, noby knows who is next customers screaming for cash slips. Not good.Second update/review, still no improvement. Customers are leaving after waiting in que. Attendants are giving conflicting instructions. I had to tell the attendant to not look at my PIN! Still VERY unprofessional
