Nando's Sea Point
Staff are EXTREMELY slow. It was Sunday, 25 Mar - Store was not busy, but they were going about their work at their own pace - no care in the world. There were two staff having their lunch, in the eating area, speaking and laughing loudly and shouting across the floor at the colleagues, who were at the counter. Not the place to have a meal on time time…and in peace.

This Nandos needs an upgrade, of the restaurant and the service. The food is still good. Today the lady who served us had no idea how to serve a customer, from a customer service point of view and knowledge of the menu and how to take an order. There is a massive sign as you walk in advertising a special for a “hot pot with rice and then starter livers at R29”. I ordered two of the specials plus a Sprite Zero and a Coke Zero. The food took so long to come. Eventually when it did arrive the drinks did not arrive. The waitress explained that we did not pay for drinks. After an investigation we un covered that we had not been sold the special but had been charged full price of R57 for livers instead of R29 and the server just never rang up drinks for us. We asked for two bread rolls and then found out that these are charged at R13 each - this is an absolute disgrace to charge that for a bread roll. The manager was quite apologetic and did Re ring up the order correctly for us and refunded us the difference. He said the lady who took our order was a trainee; which is ok but they should first provide training of how to greet their customers in a friendly way and then they should give proper training to their staff to avoid such mishaps. This is not my first bad experience at this Nandos. I guess I will stick to Nandos in Gardens. Disappointed

Great service. I would've preferred a better environment in a sense of seating and mood. There's nothing wrong with the current set up, but it feels somewhat bland. Tried something new on their menu. Perinaise burger and wrap. Quite delicious and filling too.

Always serve us amazing food. Extra sauce and the chicken cooked to perfection. Service is good and very clean restaurant. Highly recommend.

Sorry for sharing a one Star but I feel bad to rate them zero. I do love my Nando's and it is the only chicken I love to eat but Nando's Sea Point will never see me again. Firstly because of a staff shortage you were not allowed to eat in, it was only for take-aways. The staff that was available was like they were on slow strike. While we waited 10min for our order quite a few customers also turned around because of not eating in. The place itself is not as clean as what I am used to at other Nando's outlets. Sorry but this is not a good advert for your Franchise. The photos are unfortunately photogenic, can really see what I mean.

Extremely Disappointed with Nando's Seapoint: A Frustrating ExperienceI recently had an incredibly disappointing experience at Nando's Seapoint that left me frustrated and dissatisfied with their service. From the long wait time to the unhelpful staff and lack of support from Nando's customer service, this visit was nothing short of a disaster.First and foremost, the wait time for my food was beyond acceptable. I patiently waited for over an hour, only to discover that my order had not even been prepared. To make matters worse, I had stepped outside the restaurant for a moment to wait. Shockingly, when I returned, I found out that the restaurant staff had taken it upon themselves to cancel my order, even though I had already paid for it. This added insult to injury and demonstrated a complete disregard for customer satisfaction.The behavior of the staff was also disappointing. Not only were they rude and unapologetic about the situation, but they seemed disinterested in providing any assistance or finding a solution to the problem. It is disheartening to encounter such poor customer service in a restaurant that prides itself on its reputation.To address this issue, I contacted Nando's help line for assistance, only to be met with equal levels of incompetence. Despite my efforts, it has been three weeks since the incident, and I have not received a single response or any attempt to rectify the situation. This lack of communication and support is unacceptable, leaving me feeling ignored and disrespected as a customer.I understand that mistakes can happen, and even the best restaurants can have occasional slip-ups. However, it is the response to these mistakes that truly matters, and in the case of Nando's Seapoint, they have failed to take responsibility or show any concern for their customers' satisfaction.In conclusion, my experience at Nando's Seapoint was marked by an excessively long wait time, canceled order without notification (despite being paid for), rude staff, and an unhelpful customer service department. I am extremely disappointed in the overall service I received, and I would strongly advise against dining at this particular Nando's location. It is essential for any restaurant to value its customers and address their concerns promptly and professionally, which unfortunately was not the case here.

This was the worst Nandos I’ve been too. I usually order a hotpot but when I got it, it was burnt. They didn’t include the chips I ordered and when I asked for them, the guys just disappeared for several minutes. The place also needs a clean. Several people also complained about having waited for close to an hour for their orders, with receipts to even proof how long they’ve waited.It’s a let down to the Nandos franchise and I’ll never come to this particular one every again, even though I stay a street from it.

How about you guys don’t accept orders on UberEats if you know you won’t have power during load shedding? Restaurant was totally closed and we were helplessly waiting for our order. Ridiculous. Do better.
