Great instructors with years and generations of experience. One of the best soaring locations in the world that provides all year round soaring conditions. And then there is the spectacular scenery of the Breede River Valley that amazes with each of the seasons.

I attended the Ab Initio course in August 2021 led by Ari & Mike. Over the period of four days we did winch launches, aero tows, thermalling, ridge souring and got to 7,000ft in wave.Seeing the mountains around Worcester from 7,000ft got me completely hooked. I have subsequently gone solo under the safe and watchful eyes of the amazing instructors at the Cape Gliding Club.The club is made up of a selfless community of wonderful human beings.I would recommend the Ab Initio course to anybody that is even vaguely interested in the joy of flying.
