Makaranga Spa

I had a great steak at their resturaunt which has a lovely atmosphere. Some of the patrons at my table got thisr pizzas without caramelised onion but the staff were very apologetic

Lovely experience for our couples massage. Best is taking a walk through the beautiful and relaxing gardens after the treatments!

Beautiful. Good, testing walks. Plenty of parking. Only had brunch there but it was good. Good for photographers.

Without a doubt the Makaranga Spa has the best ambience of any wellness place in the Upper Highway (that I've been to anyway). The welcome is warm and cordial, the music just the right mixture of soothing without being irritating and suffice to say it has a soporific effect on one. The spa is on top of all the essential details: the rooms are kept warm - but not too warm - towels are thick and warmed and fluffy, all is calm, particularly the staff. It goes without saying they are professionals you can trust. You can leave your troubles at the door as they soothe away your pains. The hot rock massage is particularly recommended.

We had a 2 day strategy workshop at Makaranga. Food and service was excellent. Only drawback we had was the projector setup wasn’t that great and could do with a touch up. Other than that, it was outstanding.

Stunning place, amazing garden.

Went in having an expectation that was not met. The package for 950 was certainly overpriced and underrated. The spa room lacked the warmth and comfort...was a bit cramped. No cupboard to put your belongings in. Treatments were average but on a positive note...the facial was good. So much potential in such a lovely setting...Therapists were friendly but full body massage was really disappointing. I've had better at half the price I paid today.

Peaceful and quiet place!!! Most beautiful gardens!!!
