Pool Magic Edenvale

I make my living teaching companies how to improve customer experience, so I am ultra sensitive about the way I'm treated and the value I get. After many years of using Pool Magic in Edenvale, it was time to write a review as we have had a number of very positive experiences. After taking the pool cover off this weekend, we took a sample to the ladies, and they always analyse it for us for free. They made some recommendations, wrote down the instructions, and told me to come back 2 days later with a sample. All problems instantly solved, and the pool looks great. What the didn't know was that my wife is there often, ans she raves about their friendliness and helpfulness. They give great advice and cannot be more helpful. When they have come out for a call-out, such as sand replacement or leaking pipes, we've found they are efficient and helpful. In all, I'd much rather support a small, family-run business in my neighbourhood than save R10 a kilogram for chlorine to drive 20 km to a big box store to be abused by indifferent staff. (And, knowing that my son's school collects bottle tops for wheelchairs, they collect as many as they can and hand them over when we visit.) Great business!

This company is a total rip off they charge R600 to come out for a quotation, I am flabergasted at this insensitive daylight robbery, especially with all the extremely pathetic reviews

Literally the best service i received at a pool shop.They are knowledgeable and helpfull.I explained my issue and the lady figured out a solution in no time. Will recomend them anytime.

My pool is a mess had already paid R1700 for 2 calls out fees , two weeks ago and the past Saturday 8 October 2022, very frustrating, not even receiving a call from the office or the shop to find out if the customer is happy or not surely if you can request the same service for the same thing in a short space of time it really means that the is a serious problem ??????? Money Gone am still unhappy!!!!!!

I am completely shocked by the exorbitant fees I have paid for pool magic. The customer service is shoddy at best and the admin ladies are difficult, defensive and rude, it’s all about money and not about customer relationships and customer value for money!!! Use them if you want to pay more than 100% for very little actual work. Terrible and I will never use them again, I see similar posts below.

I have been a loyal custom of Pool Magic since we lived in Glendower over 30 years ago. In the last month i have spent an exceptionally large amount of money to replace the filter and chemicals to get the water blue. The water is still green, so today I went into the store with a water sample and to purchase a basket. I arrived 15 minutes before opening. Anna was very willing to serve me but when i entered the store the saleslady was extremely rude and insulting.There are many other pool companies to support where you will be treated with respect.- and you will probably also be saving money.

A shocking terrible service here.. the people here (Anisha I think to be precise) think they are making you a favour for providing a service. Very arrogant… I wouldn’t recommend this to any person

Exorbitant prices for shocking services received for solar panel repairs. Repairs were incomplete and when confronted regarding the issue, I was told by the receptionists to get on the roof and look for myself what needs repairing. Call out fees were charged even when fixing their own mistakes. Inexcusable customer service received from the receptionists- the ladies were rude and dismissive and raised their voice to me both telephonically and in person. Will be sure not to support them ever again or recommend them to anyone.

Let them clean your pool. I would not recommend them working on your pump.I had to pay R1900 and accept no guarantee (please don't make the same mistake) .... Never worked after installation, not even a day. Day light robbery and easy way to make money and just accusing other people for the damage....
