Your technical operator KERRY is the utmost rude person and I cannot wait for fibre to go life in our atea that I can dust Sonic from my list. Will not recommend you to anyone. We pay for a service that is more off than on! If I could give you a minus star rating, I would!!!

We live in Hermanus and had issues with our Wifi. Sonic sent out their technical team ( after hours), what a pleasure! Profesional and friendly! We are happy, greatful and will recommend this service provider to anyone!Thank you Sonic and thank you technical !

No service provider is perfect, it's all about service. Do not take out your frustrations with the big incumbents, on the local operators. When all other networks using Openserve have been down, Sonic made a plan and got us up and running. Sonic got us fiber before anyone else. They might not be the cheapest, but they are local and money we spend with them supports our local economy... try getting through to one of the other ISPs, or getting special service from them... happy to have a local ISP and to be able to support a local business. Sonic does not deliver the speeds they claim - the upload speeds are never above 0.2 mbps, meaning that working remotely through their wifi offering is not possible if you need to be on video calls ( Teams/Zoom ).And they are very expensive.The whole town is basically waiting for OpenServe or similar competitor to arrive, so that the switch overs can start happening.

Just had to pay a R85.00 reconnection fee for a invoice that we never recieved. With no real competion in the town, I guess this is the best we can expect.

Never have I ever had such a good ISP! Well Done to France and his wonderful team who always go out of their way to assist each client in need. It is true, they go the extra mile for a client to give their best service. I have been with Sonic WiFi since day one and am forever grateful for such a family friendly ISP!

QoS is not great for doing server-related work. Cuts the SSH tunnels and expect outages every now and then.NOT wise to use for a work context. I have used the wireless product in 2019, still not impressed after I was forced to find an alternative since ADSL was cut.The only interaction we got from Sonic is:You may experience intermittent to no internet. Extremely poor service delivery.Paying for a 6 mb line but last night did not even reach 1 at times.Technician told me I was pulling 7 mb on a 6mb line when I was in fact pulling 700 kb per second.Tried to make an appointment this morning to meet the owner with regards to the poor service but this was denied by Dedre from their call centre.Be very careful before using this supplier as they do not deliver the speed you pay for .Needless to say the problem has still not been resolved.Owner also not accessible as per aboveI used both tools" as sent By Dedre.It is clear that the Tenda app and the "real time" Sonic tool does not correlate at all.Also the speedtest does not correlate to the Sonic "real time" graphs. The Sonic real time graph has peaks and bottoms and is not consistent for even 10 seconds at any time and is therefore unreliable. Also I was told by Dedre that management would call me today which did not happen !Sonic is clearly not interested in resolving this complaint

My in store experience was brief as I only required stationary. However, computer spares , technical assistance and advice is offered. Clean neat store .
