Asked for a double room and I got a family room... traveled all the way from Durban, specifically asked for the best room. False promise. Male receptionist made my stay a bit uncomfortable

Great place to stay. It would have been better of you could get a cold drink after hours. They should have a vending machine or a stocked bar in the room. Had to resort to tap water. Overall it's a great place to stay.

My rating of the place is poor. This is because I called before making the booking and requested a bathroom with a bathtub. I was told my request was approved. The manager waited till I arrived to tell me that he actually did not have a room with a bathtub as those rooms were booked. So I was already very unsatisfied with the stay as soon as I got there. I also heard the workers arguing early in the morning, very loudly outside the room.

Loved every minute of it. It's nice and cozy. Staff and owners are very friendly and always ready to help you out it be getting a taxi, or ordering some take out they will get it done. The food is delicious. Will definitely stay again.

The first contact we had with the place was a little hostile, the security guards was rude.However once we got inside the owner greeted us with a warm smile.Checking info was as easy as could be.The room which we booked was the family room , first impressions was good.Nice big bed, with a nice firm mattress.Bathroom was nice and clean. It had a shower and bath fitting both preferences.Up keep was a little lacking though, the soap holder in the shower just dropped out of the wall.There were globe's missing from the light fittings In the bedroom .Breakfast was included and our order was taken the day before at cheek in.The food was well prepared although the portions were a little tiny when it came to the meat.I was given only 1 small slightly over cooked beef sausage.The staff were very friendly and accommodating.Would I go back........... Yes

Amazing stay with kind people and everything that you need.

Very cosy and intimate, our room was only a bed and bathroom that was not tiny so there was easy movement, I enjoyed myself. There is a restaurant and a pool side that is kept clean. If you in town and need a place to just enjoy on a budget it's this place.

Good location, clean and confortable rooms, the place is beautiful and the staff is friendly.

I thoroughly enjoyed my stay at Marion Lodge. The room is beautiful. The staff is friendly. The food is delicious. I will definitely be using it more often and I recommend it without reservation.
