Le Roux Electrical

I had a rental house that was being sold and needed to do the electrical COC’s for this house. I found this contractor on the internet and asked him to complete the job. He issued the COC’s, but then 3 weeks later the tenant contacted me to say that this company was supposed to complete some more work before the COC’s were valid (So I got the COC’s but the actual work was not done yet and he received all his money). The house has since been sold and I tried to get a hold of this person for two weeks on whatsapp and calling him, but I received no response whatsoever (bear in mind this is a company which was very willing to answer my initial calls and whatsapp messages). I decided to give his number to the agent that sold my house to see if he can get a hold of him, the agent called me back and said that I would have to deal with this person again because they did get a hold of him, and he did come to the house, looked at the work that he needs to be complete and then told the new owners that he would come back, but he never showed up again. Eventually I found his mother’s cell number on an email she sent with the original COC’s attached. I called her and explained that I could not get a hold of her son for two weeks and she appologised on her son’s behalf. The next morning he replies for the first time to my messages and says he will come to complete his work at my already sold house (new owners not happy at all). He came the next day, completed the outstanding work which took him more than half of the day. When his work was done I asked him why he did not complete the work from the beginning and why he did not respond to my messages and phone calls. His excuse was that he had taken on too much work. I will not use this contractor again.

Jaques kept to the appointment date and arrived on time. Gave advise on lighting and did a stellar job on installation of ceiling fans. I would recommend him for all electrical jobs.
